Well, the gate for the Shinto shrine is the thing that gives it that Japanese feel. Very pretty picture.

I love the quality of light across the atmosphere and the shapes of the foliage. The warm colours are very well executed and powerfully counteract the much larger shadowed areas.

My one reservation is the handling of the water; as it's placed in the centre of the composition, it needs to be perfect, but its texture looks inauthentic to me.

Overall, a very good landscape!

Amazing art! I think it looks slightly oriental because of the arch thing, and the larger then lifre bonzai trees, and the mountains XD So yeah, could totally be a place in Japan from the past.
