oh! i went to this bar the otherday called the Aviator, and its a bar on an airfield overlooking the runway, and a mustang did a low flyby showing off his cockpit and wings! he msuta been no higher then 35feet off the ground!

If you get as far east as Mildenhall, there is this privately owned hunter just out of Beck Row (village adjoining the airfield).

Hunters are actually quite popular for this work, the Navy have a couple on contract which have been re-assigned new military registration numbers (although they are operated by a civilian contractor).

Yeah It's great to see a 50's vintage jet still in useful service today.

Thanks to the Sea Harriers being retired, you almost could say the 3 Hunters are the Navy's only fast jets.......

also i learned something interesting at cosford, they had an open day in the restoration hanger, and they'd got a Kestral! i never even knew it existed! and theres only 5 left
