Dear Moon,
I’m glad that Jade mountain is recovering from the damages it took during the battle between the IceWings and NightWings! It’s good to know that the mountain is still intact and that classes will be starting up again soon, though it might take a couple of weeks (or months giver or take) before I or Winter return to them.
The whole mess during our first weeks and from when “He” showed up have left Winter worse for wear. The IceWing is practically working himself to death with the scavenger sanctuary idea he’s thought up, not to mention he barely steps outside anymore... And I can’t completly blame him, he lost alot of things, his home, his family, hell the respect of his tribe even though he practically helped saved them. And I think he’s scared he might still be mind-controlled or whatever “He” did to him. He wakes up at night crying wondering if he is even in control of his own mind. And I honestly have no idea what to do but comfort him, I have no idea what that might’ve felt like, if he was aware or not...
Sorry if this letter isn’t especially hopeful, I’ve just been worried about Winter these past few days.
In any case I’m going to stay as long as he needs me, he denies that he needs anyone to help him with his own problems, but I think we can see how much he does need a shoulder to vent on.
though he did lock me out yesterday after I remarked how we made a great couple, a charming son of a assassin and a banished cold hearted prince.
