But in the comics, it can infect anyone and turn them into this... I believe it even happens to the dead.

Fighting those things in the Omega DLC was scary as [link] . However, it has its fun moments.

are they some sort of husk variant or is that how they are?
π: 0 β©: 2
AnonymousUnversed In reply to psychohare0 [2012-08-28 23:51:18 +0000 UTC]
They're a particularly dangerous variant. They turn people into more Adjutants by simply killing them. No Dragon's Teeth, no conversion process. They die, and a few minutes latter they're Adjutants.

What is the host species?

Likely a species that was a victim to the past cycles now long forgotten

In the Invasion comic, Adjutants are made out of any species.

It is, but from who exactly, is this simply random made ? cause Husks are from Human, Marauder from Turian etc.

They look like the statues in Illos. Could the Reapers had created from the race that preceded the Proteans?

Interesting this looks a lot like the statues in the Prothean ruins on Ilios.
So who the heck were the tentacled guys?
Beautiful art!

Thanks! He-he! ^^ The situation reminds qunari without horns. All of them could be protheans, who was part of their empire.

This is quite awesome. I believe this is an "Adjutant" from the Mass Effect Invasion comic? Very nice.

I almost mistook this thing for a Yahg Husk, but then realized the Yahg have four eyes. As the Reapers are the builder of the Mass Relay's it stands to reason that they know them all, so perhaps they turned an unknown race into Husk. One can not be sure.

its an omniform of husk, all races become these!
the collectors where the protean husk for what i can understand! at least thats how i see it!

pix2011 [2011-12-08 01:33:45 +0000 UTC]
Might have come before the collectors but maybe the protheans managed to maintain control then having to be re-written into collectors, I think that'd be a good back story!!

The only problem his here the prothean are now the Collectors no ?
So how could it be there his a Prothean Husk ?
π: 0 β©: 1
Ooupoutto In reply to xenoking [2012-01-06 01:54:19 +0000 UTC]
Only a few became collectors. Think about it, you destroyed the ship containing all the collectors. The collectors were Prothean, and spread there empire across then ENTIRE galaxy.
Sure, the collectors are dead. But the protheans still play a big part in ME3. Same stuff, different pile.

Based on the shape of the body, positioning of the limbs, etc., I'd say we're looking at a Krogan husk. A really well-drawn one at that.
