Good advice...though I think in-game you get a chance to spot or use diplomatic skills with Neeshka in the aftermath of your raid on a bandit hideout to notice that she has also helped herself to a few (sometimes valuable) gems.
She does not mention them herself either, which makes the advice not only good, but horribly true.

Very sloppy of our ranger to have sacks with holes in them. I'd bet Neeshka got to to all the gems first!
