I have Rendered this my old work with BunkSpeed Shot Rendering Engine to try it !!I hope you like it !!

If you search the word "gem" or "diamond" with a search engine you can get images, info and other about
gems, diamonds and things of this kind !!

i have used a physical rendering engine that with this light settings don't generate caustic !!

this is a great result for that render time...
unbiased rendering with caustics on average machine would took far more than one hour

the chess board is awesome but i think the background doesn't fit. idk it looks 2.5 dimensional something between 2D and 3D

Why so many favorites and no comments? Wow, this is beautiful. I love how you made the actual pieces are iridescent. And just...the entire design is very luxurious. I feel as if I would find something like this in a palace. I like how the colors seem to flow together and match even though they are so different and there are so many of them.
A little word of critique, the actual board surface...I feel as if it is one solid glass panel with a gold grid painted on top of it from the way all the shines match up. But I get the idea that it might be tiles you were going for. And if so, I'd say to make the shines not line up as they go from color to color. It would make the pieces look more individual. And also the background, it seems rather...two dimensional. If you made it so the marble looked more like it was trying to be a table rather than a wall, I think it would greatly enhance the feel of the image.
But aside from those two things, it's still wonderful. And if both of those were intentional decisions, it still stands as beautifully crafted. :>

For the background, you are right, it's a image that i have put here with the option software, maybe
seem two dimensional !!
