Imelda has been feeling really exhausted when giving birth to Coco for so many hours straight, along with breastfeeding the baby. She ended up going to sleep at around 5 A.M. on December 3, 1918. and woke up 45 hours later, on December 5, 1918 at 2 in the morning. It's possible that both Héctor and Imelda are early birds and night owls.

The headcanon by vanessa5400 reminds me of the time dilation of when I wake up, like when I feel like I've slept for 8-10 hours, I sometimes check the clock and its between 4-6 in the morning. Normally I wake up near 7 A.M, and I've even woke up at 5 in the morning. But, there are times when an exhausting process of giving birth can make a woman feel like a night owl or nocturnal. I also thought of an idea of Coco questioning her parents why she had kept them up all night for the first few weeks of her life. The inspiration is happening a year later. There's a part 2 to the request.
