Birdman armed with a blunderbuss. He's here to take your stuff. What are you going to do about it? This is one of my own creatures. I've got a character of this species, a space pirate captain named Jason, who's form one of several pirate gangs collectively called the Avia'rhan. I wanted to draw one that was not him. So here's one of his underlings, I suppose. I wanted to show a bit more diversity in the coloration, instead of just doing the same tan and red scheme, so I went for a color scheme like that of a Blue Jay or similar bird. Something a bit more striking. I love the blue, white, and black combination. It just looks really good on birds and birdlike creatures imo.
Done on 9"x12" paper in Micron Ink; Colored in GIMP.
