I get the feeling the only real connection between Formula 1 and the problems in Bahrain is the media using propaganda. Now, just to be clear, I do not see the link. Yes, the media uses propaganda, but I think that is the same everywhere. Here in Europe, but also the other continents. Because it's always the guy controlling the media who is the most powerful. Look at Berlusconi (Italy). He screwed up more than you and I put together, but still remains at the head of parliament.
I do agree, there needs to be more attention for those who are suffering in this world. I always try to stand up for those who cannot defend themselves, and it mortally hurts when I think about all the injustice being done in this world.
But my problem is, F1 brings money to a country, brings attention to a country, brings people to a country. Isn't that exactly what you want as a country that is in trouble?

Now offense Aheney (but if your seeing this) while I understand that your intentions are good showing how they're having F1 races in politically corrupt regions where they use war machines to kill civilians ,ironically an F1 stylized tank like vehicle is...`~` attractive like a cool sci-fi ship or something.It under that impression that I was about to fave this although I understand the meaning of this picture now my friend.Thanks for the descrip.

I am a fan of F1, but I am incredibly disappointed they went ahead with the race. I for one refused to watch it. I can only hope the publicity it has gained will help the people in their struggle.
