Description Propagation beyond the line of sight is possible through sky waves. Sky waves are radio waves that propagate into the atmosphere and then are returned to earth at some distance from the transmitter. There are two types of sky waves: ionospheric refraction and tropospheric scatter. Using my superpower I was able to impress on digital film both type of propagation back lighted at sunset.
