Description
This is my entree for Dark Shadows portrait contest I created this using both traditional AND digital drawing. Please note that there are no photoshop effects added to the picture. It's all painting on my tablet.

I drew the portrait using regular prisma colored pencils (see my deviant page gallery for the original drawing).

I then threw my drawing onto photoshop and used a water color brush to paint the shadows onto the right side of the face and the highlights on the left.
The lamp post and cobblestone in the back were drawn with a round point brush used with a 10% opacity. So it started off very light and I built up a lot of color by layering.
