My favourite one is the Heidi anime adaptation.

Oh, well, it's a pretty old anime. Wikipedia says it's from 1974,
but they often make re-runs on my country's Channel 6, so I saw it
from there.
It was directed by Isao Takahata with drawings by Hayao Miyazaki
(yes, that Hayao Miyazaki) and it's absolutely lovely.
You laugh, you cry, you stare in awe at the Alps, it's absolutely amazing!
