Hmmm, without help I would say they'd barely last a day on land since all their lives they are tuned to understanding sound waves moving through water. Sound travels faster underwater because it is a non-compressible medium so not only would the Aeline not be able to move freely but its reaction time and sensory skills would be off. Β

They can breath both ^^ they have tiny gills hidden under the fur on their neck. However they tend to breath water most often because the caves they live in normally have little air available ^^.
