Halloween Special: Monster High Genderbends - Freddy Stein as Frankie Stein! [link]

This is my first artwork for my Halloween Month Special, starring the characters of Monster High in their respective genderbends! The first is our protagonist, Frankie Stein, who is now Freddy Stein.

The premise of Monster High as a whole, for us adults, tends to be quise silly ... The sons and daughters of famous monsters gathered at a high school. For a TV or book series it's a weak theme, but for a line of dolls? I confess it's quite interesting! Frankie, as the name suggests, is the daughter of the Frankenstein monster. She has 16 days of life, and in the begining has got some difficulties to fit in school days, but it turns out just ok when se manages to befriend some other monster girlfriends.

Another thing about this design style: the characters are in black and white to refer to old monster movies, the famous "Universal Monsters", which became famous after the film adaptation! These includes Frankestein, Dracula, the Werewolf, the Mummy and etc ^^
