- Note: TROLL ALERT! This OC is a parody. Fat people aren't monsters, neither douches or jerks, and I have no intention to offend anyone or support any racist stereotype - it's just a fan art, plain and simple. We're supposed to have fun, so don't take it too seriously.

Another Monster High teacher, and today's OC is child of the nutty professor Julius Kelp, from the 60's original movie comedy. I also like the Eddy Murphy's version from 1996, so I just added features from both professors
Just like the film is a parody of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", both these characters are based on Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde.James Kelp is a normie, while Cool Bob is a ice elemental - just like Holt Hyde is a fire elemental. Otherwise, if he was a normie, he would have no reason to be teaching at Monster High, right?
Also, today's OC is a "peculiar", just like Reddie Monster - so in the same fashion, I'll answer a few questions that you might be asking youself:
Are they exactly like Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde? Not exactly. They're both very aware that they two share the same body: James Kelp makes his researches for the tonic that transforms him into Cool Bob, and Cool Bob hates to come back to be James when the tonic is worn out. Their personalities are also very different: Bob is smooth, cool and talented womanizer - while James Kelp is intelligent, kind and determined to pursue his dreams...And cut that crap, Jackson Jekyll IS NOT SMART! He doesn't show any spark of great intelligence or talent, he just dresses like a nerd and gets bullied. And acts like he has mental problems.

I stumbled upon this and I really love the double bio. I actually like it that the two go hand in hand in a very...Paradox like manner. I think it's great, even better then Holt and Jackson. That is just my own opinion about the two which I don't really understand entirely.
I wouldn't mind if my original character is friends with either or...Though since Moth boy Gray is afraid of everyone he probably would lean towards Kelp. However I would let you decide if he is okay to be friends or not. My character isn't developed well enough but you have a great eye on Monster High creation.

I like these guys! Sure, they're pretty much Jackson and Holt but you've stated they're a parody so that makes it alright in my book. And they seem to be a step up from those two.
I like the fact that James is chubby. It's nice to see some mansters that aren't all super good looking. Then Cool Bob. I like his name and the fact that he's ice. I think I like him more than Holt. He looks so much more suave than Holt does. I mean, how can you not love a man in a suit?
50 Shades of Blue sounds like a documentary of Bob's life. X3 My guess is it would be better than that other 50 Shades.

Actually, this is the case where a parody fails to be somehow offensive - because now I see both Bob and James may be even better characters then the original Jekyll and Hyde! I mean: Jackson is slow, submissive and acts like he has... problems. Holt is loud, obnoxious, and inconvenient.
I would love to have Mad Science class with Mr. Kelp during the day, and partying with Mr. Cool during the night. I'm also sad that, when I open friend slots, nobody wants to be their friends

Well I think Bob at least is better than Holt. Like you said, Holt is obnoxious and his character keeps annoying me. XP And I think they were trying to make Holt more likeable and wild than Jackson but that's not how I see him at all. Bob though, looks and acts the part of the cool guy and I'd much rather hang out with Bob and Holt.
As would I! I'd offer some of my OCs to be their friends but James is a teacher, right? I'm not sure teachers and students should be friends. XD But I do have a little nerdy ogre that could get along with James perhaps.
