wow! i always thought grey hounds were hyper dogs that were like always ready to play and didn't have an off switch. haha. but i can see how calm and relaxed Savannah is. (: you've got a shoe eater, huh? haha. i never had one of those. but my last dog used to bite my ankles. he never did really hurt me, but i'd just be walking and then stop, and out of nowhere, im being bitten. hahaha. it was more of a surprise if anything. he was a good dog though. (:

Lol, O yeeah, I forgot to mention that when they are NOT sleeping/being well-behaved, they ARE a handful! If you start running, so do they - and because they are so large and heavy, they can run you right over. They can also be merciless with smaller animals as well (trained instinct?) - I heard the other day that one of the dogs ate they neighbours' cat when it peeked through the fence. :/

Well at first, ye.
But later on they swim around and begin to look back at you with their beady black eyes..

wow! great great great shot! it's great.. the colours, the focus on the face and the grass and then all the way back unfocused. it's so simple and calm.. everything so quiet... it's a really good shot.

no, it doesn't. what i see in there is trully an uncomplicated life.. a (gorgeous, lovelly) dog, resting peacefully after some good playing in that quite set. it leaves me envious..
congrats on the sensitivity of the shot too
