» The Image (~3.5 hours)
Wow. I don't think I can ever look at another zebra again. This was a free for all at NSHC & I decided to play around with the horse just to see if I could do the stripes. I ended up liking it, so I finished the image. According to Lucia, he's supposed to have:

black on black stripes (shiny stripes on a duller base coat)
silver eyes
bright white mane and tail
mane should be somewhat bristled, like a zebra's
tasseled tail, like a zebra's

And to top it all off, his mother was raped & he was abandoned & he basicallyhatestheworld. :] I'm really sad I had to darken the horse when I put him in the background, because when he was lighter, you could see so many details with the stripes. I might upload a few close ups later. So please, no really harsh critique, this one took me a while.

» The Edits
-Yes, there is a long list of credits. And yes, I got the eye from Hoodseh. :] The horse had blinkers on, so I had to go searching just to find an eye that looked somewhat normal. And that's the closest I could get to silver, even though it just looks like he has cataracts.

-For the mane/tail: I took the top part of a tail from stockhorse's zebra. Then I smudged it out so it was...tassel-y. THEN I paste the tail base where the mane is, liquefied it all the way down his neck, then smudged it.

-Oi. I forgot to put stripes on his head. x.x Maybe I'll add them tomorrow? Oh, and the quote is Latin, and translates into "revenge is sweeter than life itself, so think, fools."
