Description So I have finally redrawn Ahst again in all her glory after a few years of not doing so. A bit has changed in her story since then, and she's taken on some changes to her weaponry and physical appearance! (Aside from that, I'll say I think this is the best drawing, not just of Ahst, but in general that I have ever done, as both Ahst and the background came out far better than I ever could have expected. )

Here is Ahst 'Zar Traot, Fleet Master of the Fleet of Retributive Sanctuary and current kaidon of the Traot Keep of Teeda'ul (a backwater forest colony of my own design, I loosely based it off of the temperate rain forests of the US's Pacific Northwest), relaxing by the edge of the forest that surrounds her tiny keep. She's never fully relaxed, though: She's survived a few too many would-be assassins to ever truly chill out anymore. xD

I'm wondering how a female Sangheili became Kaidon. I'm guessing exceptional skill granted the Prophets blessing.

She lives in a very freaking backwater keep, and there's basically no one else who can do the job, as she assassinated the last kaidon who wiped most of the good, forward-thinking folks out (To say he was a tyrant was an understatement. All the scars you see on Ahst here were caused either directly or indirectly by the last kaidon).

That's a very cool backstory. There's probably still remote backwater areas on Sanghelios

From how Shadow of Intent described it, Sanghelios and its more nearby colonies are almost a little crowded, and space to make new settlements has grown limited. Smaller families apparently started seeking out planets further away where they'd have a little more space. (Ahst's keep is just about a century old at the time of Halo 5, with a population of only a few hundred.)

Ah yes, I forgot you can still colonize planets in space age and keep yourself off the radar. Should've learned that from Star Wars ages ago.

Haha, yep. I guess I could also mention that what we've seen of Sanghelios's geography, like the canyons around Sunaion, isn't quite what I was looking for. Look up some pictures of the Pacific Northwest rainforests, and you'll get a pretty good idea of what a lot of Teeda'ul looks like.

Still it did look really cool. There were some areas I believe with denser forests in the background. But I get what you mean.
