Just a quick sketch, might move it to scraps later. While it's not much on the web, it does look very lovely on gift cards (the gift cards don't have the text on them). I print them myself and the simplicity of the cat and the fiddle works beautifully on them.The late, great Merlin. Sometimes he comes to visit me in dreams. He sits with me and purrs.

I actually just used pencil. An ordinary #2 one, probably. Much as I love working with pencil, and despite having a proper art set, I usually just resort to the standard kind... just like when I use pen and ink, I usually use a fine ball point Pilot pen, and nothing extraordinary.
