i just love her assertiveness even though she's trying for a cute look right here. the way she's sitting on the flower isn't soft like what i normally see in fairy pictures. she's like i OWN this. ^^

Her wings are incredible ! What would be your hint-trick for a learner??? You should do more digital drawing (but your traditionnal drawing are asthounishing as well

(Sorry about the long delay in responding--things have been crazy this past month!)
Doing the wings is actually pretty easy! When you scan your line art into photoshop and colored it, create a new layer to go on top everything. With the select tool, trace the shape of the wings and then fill with the color of your choice. (I used an off-white, lemon-y yellow for Primavera.) Next, set your layer on "Screen" in the layers toolbox. Adjust opacity depending on how much of a glow you want, and there you have it--glowing & transluccent wings! ^__^*

Yes, I think that's what I meant. I don't remember the story though. She gets married to fairy prince in the end, if I remember correctly.
