Description I'm supposed to be working on a trade and request...
But they just weren't happening.

So in my frustration, I remembered I STILL hadn't finished a picture I promised to a friend nearly 2 years ago. ((I'm such a horrible person..)) So here it is, FINALLY!

Also, the whole fungus/faery theme was inspired by *Nashya , as I was reading her lovely webcomic, Fungus Grotto, while working on it.

Very nice muted colour scheme! Gives it a sort of moody, but naturey feel. I really like the fungi! They are so cute! I really like how you drew her arms and hands. Also, the textures are nice

Thanks! This was the first time I tried using strokes to show texture, so I'm glad it looks ok! XD

The detail on this is the most refined I've seen of your artwork so far. It's so fine and delicate, it almost looks like the color was etched. The backgroudn, the hands, her clothes, wings, and hair--BAH! Really, I think I'm a little stunned here...

Wow this turned out really great! I love the subtle celtic flair! I like how her wings come out of her skin like that, and the mushrooms on that tree look soooo real! Are those kind posionous?

I love the way the wings kind of bleed into the back. It gives the whole feeling a more realistic touch. And you draw such awesome hands -can't draw hands...-
