''Some day in the future'' That is very much likely me about posting stuff.
Yes, I thought I should extend my art ability to a further level and do a half body drawing. Trust me, those arms gave so much trouble getting them right! And yet even, I have to apologize for making them look weird. Well, at least they look wrong to me, maybe because I've been staring at them for hours.
I gotta admit, shading in the hair was the worst part. I've tried a variety of different techniques, but I couldn't just do the way I wanted. So yeah, my goal was to make it look detailed, but I failed so I ended up shading it just like that in the picture above. I thought I'll have trouble drawing his hair, but apparently I did that in 15 minutes. xD
I know I promised to draw characters with a smile, but then I thought: Kensei with a smile? O_o Nah, that don't look right. Yet, I tried putting up a smile on his face, didn't turn out well, probably because I'm not good at giving sane smiles for particular characters.
At one moment, I was like in a middle of drawing big pupils on him and at the same time I was wondering: Something's not right! Then I looked at a random Kensei picture focusing particular on his face and I realized that he has small pupils, so I was like: DOH! That's the problem.
I couldn't resist, his black gloves are awesome. Because when he was a captain, he was wearing black gloves. I made a mixture of vizard Kensei and captain when he was in the past.
Overall, it was really fun drawing him, I regret nothing, except minor flaws that I made, but that's fine. xD

I think that was a good decision, you need to practise all ways and you did a great job here For the arms, the only worse thing I see is that his forearms are way too... I don't know how to say, they go a bit more round to the wrist. That sounds lame xD but I don't know how to say... it could be more straight maybe. When you look at the whole body, it looks a bit unnatural, but then, when I zoom it and look at the forearms only, they look ok... Well, I don't know But still, it's not such a disaster, so it's fine^^
But I like the way the hair is done! It looks lovely and smooth
Well yay, some characters just can't go with a smile xD Kensei's in the same category like Byakushi. And when he finally smiles.... [link] Well... better don't Kensei, better don't
Oh my, it would be interesting to see him or some other characters (like Renji, he's the same) with big pupils... I bet they would get much softer, cuter...^^ xD The whole character changes just with different eyes.
I agree, I love his gloves! And I love how they are fingers free. It's cool! And yay, the mixture is great! Also the pose (I knew I forget to mention something xD) - when I look at the picture, I see him in his captain clothes, standing there like the boss! So really nice^^

That's the way! Thank you for pointing things out that I need to improve on or fix. ^___^ Just come to think about it, I noticed what you think looks wrong, it really does. I promise I'll work on that!
Omg, Kensei, he'd better not...He totally overdid it.
I'm sorry, but I can't imagine Kensei looking cute or anything close to that. xD
You mentioned fingers. O_O Speaking of human fingers, I need to work on drawing fingers and hands. I know it's really hard, but I gotta accept that challenge!

Oh, it was quite a mess xD I just don't know how to say it in English properly... But I'm happy if it could help a bit^^ And hope you don't mind me saying that. I always feel bad when I'm saying something critical.

He surely can be^^ Like here - but it's those bigger eyes and hint of smile, maybe a bit OOC, but still [link] Or here, it's a screenshot from TBTP, he actually smiled there a liittle bit, really slightly, but he did haha xD [link] I like such characters, like him or Byakuya, when they don't smile at all it's such a rare pleasure to actually catch a little smile for once^^
Yay, fingers. "Speaking of human fingers" That made me laught xD What kind of other fingers could it be? xD xD Just maybe fish fingers xD (if it's also used in English for that meal xD)

That was proper English explanation, don't worry. ^^ I really don't mind you saying that, I just wish you could do that more, because then I would know how to improve on some bits there and that.
Okay, I was wrong, they do smile. And he actually looks cool when he smiles like that, you see, I call it a perfect smile which I can't possibly draw.
I don't know whose else fingers could be... xD They call fish fingers - fish sticks. o_o Speaking of fish sticks, that reminded of [link] . Good memories. xD

One of the first may be that Italian man probably, for some reason that's like the only thing I remember... Here's the computer nerd and this is the first video I've seen from him. This guy is... awesome He takes some famous song and makes his own video and lyrics to it... total bullshits, random things that don't even make sense most of the time, but oh my god xD xD So you surely know Kesha's Tik tok... geez, I hate that song, but I love this version to death From the start it may be nothing interesting, but just wait for the chorus...
