ROFL! You don't suck at this! xD!! I was just wondering. Like when we work out and are exhausting ourselves we breathe hard right? I was just thinking that if an animal has it's lungs on the top, and someone was sitting on them.. Well you know, it sorta sucks. Because that's like someone sitting on your lungs while you're running xD! However, maybe the creature has a cushion sack around it's lungs that's like extra protection from pressure? That may protect it, or maybe it has a reversed bone structure on the top of it's back to protect it's lungs! Or maybe the wing muscles keep it protected?

It's a unique idea and I like it, i'm just trying to figure out the way it would protect itself, or have the ability of being ridden.

I...Actually thought about the lungs going downward instead of being placed above the shoulder blade--
So they're...Under.

I just realized birds have their lungs placed close to their backs--

ahh yes! See now that would be really cool, I didn't even know that birds had two extra lung compartments, but that would be really cool on your creatures!

Yeah. The extra air sacs, And bird lungs have capillaries instead of alveoli
(or whatever the little air sacs in our lungs are called)
and their air flow goes only one way.
Something to do with flying and how high they can go.
I still don't know how I can place that kind of pair of lungs on Pegasivians without having them suffocate from their riders though.

That's actually really cool. Maybe it helps them make themselves lighter? You could always design a rib cage that supports the creature, or what if the trainers had a unique way of putting the saddle on that wouldn't hinder it?
