This picture was originally taken by slumberlotus at Connichi 2007 [Anime / Manga Convention] in Kassel / Germany. She's a really talented photographer and I'm very grateful that I was allowed to pose for her.This is my favourite picture of my latest cosplay costume: Rabi / Lavi from D.Gray-Man.
It isn't completely finished yet. The large hammer and a few other acessoires are still missing.
Nevertheless I hope you like it. It's my first deviation after all. ;D

Did you make the headband using felt? and what other material?
I bought one, but wasn't completely happy with it. Thinking about making one

Yes. I made the headband myself, but it's not completely made from felt.
The black part is simple black cotton fabric. I used the same fabric as for the jacket here, so it's a rather strong material. For the other strap I used cotton with a special snake-skin print and the white thingy is made from white felt, just as you said. ^_^
I actually wanted to make the snake-skin part from imitation leather but it was unfortunately too hard to find. D:

I just wanted to tell you what an amazing job you did on this. I don't have a livejournal so I couldn't tell you there so I'm happy to have found you.
I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind possibly answer me the question of what kind of fabric you used for your jacket? Both the white and black. I can't seem to pick a good kind.
