Last, and not least because it's my favorite, is this picture, based on "Reverie" by Debussy. (looove Debussy and this song).Originally, I had just wanted to draw fish, but it slowly started turning more dreamy and Reverie-ish.
I was trying this new technique of oil pastels blended with turpenoid. So I can say that this is my second oil pastel picture.
This technique felt kinda like watercolor, only the colors are much more intense, and I liked that.
The girl isn't drowning. Nor is she a mermaid. She's just dreaming about fish and bubbles and happy rainbows and stuff.
(Annnnnd my SWEET SIXTEEN is in 11 days!!!! Yay!)

Oh, I definitely love this as well. It seems like something you'd see in Cirque du Soleil. :3 I love the fish and bubbles! ...And her hair. ...And everything else. XD;

Well I kinda cheated and used white oil paint for some of the highlights if I messed up. But generally I tried to work around them.
