They were the names chosen by the origional creator of this story. I only have a vague idea what Nichibotsu even means.

Nichibotsu is actually a real word in japanese. It means sunset.
Tenkiyami is a little more complicated.
tenki could be a deep secret, a turning point or weather
yami is Darkness.
So I guess the best translation could be a secret darkness
I just typed those words into my translator, so I might also be wrong, but somehow it does make kinda sense.

Yeah, though at this point the story barely resembles the original, due to it being pretty bare-bones since I only have what I happened to copy off the wiki page before it was removed due to policy changes (they want money now). Plus there were no supporting characters, and I've added a whole slew of them, plus some additional precures.
Thanks for the Nichibotsu translation, wasn't sure if the name was an actual word, or several parts thrown together. I already had Tenkiyami, though I like secret darkness better, since the notes I have copied from the original reference weather.

I've read a few lines in a wiki about SSPC and it says, that the story is a lot darker than original PreCure. So I'm even more interested to know more about the story

I'm just lucky I'd copy and pasted a good chunk of things into a doc beforehand. Everything else I get to pretend I remember.
Ah yes, the wiki page I never keep up with. It's "dark" compared to precure, but not overly so. Most of the dark things, basically death and minor blood (although Doki Doki had blood so meh?), are off-camera and mostly illuded to. The more gruesome parts won't ever be really shown, at most it'll be blacked out or the like. Basically, I'm not going to go full edge-lord or anything, but there are consequences.
No, they gave it to me before abonding deviantart as far as I can tell. Haven't heard from them to get the things lost due to the policy changes, so I assume their accounts are dead.

If you don't show the bloody scenes, it might be even darker, as it leaves the reader unsure about what happened. I think that's a great way to make a story darker without having to draw all those gory scenes.

But with them gone, you can come up with your own storyline and character. It might be even better, because the original creators do not give you any restrictions and such

Yup, that's what I think too. Plus a lot of the messed up stuff isn't even hidden, but not made obvious until it's too late. Aka, if there's sketchy stuff it's sketchy for a reason.
Bordome? Life? Idk, but I'm never giving this story back to them now, since the is more mine than theirs at this point.
