I had this idea so long ago... and I had to make it
And no, he doesn't really consider himself as a "real" prince specially after the fact he was proclaimed dead at a young age

This is a sweet piece. I like how the characters seem to differ; one seems very Zelda like, and the other has a very anime feel to them.
I really do like your background as well, I always struggle with doing woodlands and forest, which I think you did pretty well! Especially liking the sense of depth with the muted colors as you get further. And your cloves and grass textures are great too.

It'd be cuter, if they were two female. Well, I always have this vision of only female characters. And it's hard to notice that without having an outline, this is very neat. I mean, one is used to the bluriness when zooming in a image without outlines, bot not here.And when zooming in, it can't be helped to be noticed the elaborated background.

This is a great little fantasy scene, I love the tranquil feeling of it all and the chemistry between the characters is definitely there. You did a good job with the perspective, you can tell that they are in an expansive forest or woodland, yet the piece is also intimate with the focus on the two characters. The character's expressions are very appropriate and I like how the whole piece is telling a little story. the shading and anatomy are also pretty good. Overall, a lovely piece which is pleasant to look at, great work!
