~new coloring style, kinda sick of plain colors. Although it seem a little too bright and cheerful for me. lol the girl's neck seem be be twisting in a very odd angle. orz...=_=

I read that you said these kind of colours weren't your usual but I love how you always shade hair with ususual colours that I'd never think of. This picture just makes me happy even though it's kidnapping

I use a layer of "addition" in SAI. (But if you don't use SAI paint tool program you probably don't know what i'm on about. ^,^)

i found it through someone's page and i asked the organiser if i could submit illustrations instead of manga story (coz i knew i won't have time for stories) and he asked if i wanna become an illustrator. nothing formal like CVs, lol. it was all MSN chat.
haha, i think kiseki's the only autralian manga magazine at the moment. (maybe we should make a NZ one. XD)

i'm not sure if i need a CV for massey application actually...(i was just filling it in...lol) but i did put it in my Massey scholarship application.
haha. i don't know, but it sounded like the kiseki boss got it started pretty fast. maybe we just gotta get a few illustrators (btw, we are all volunteer illustrators, lol) and get a few mangas going, talk to some publishers. XD

i'm going for the the Massey High Achievers (Arts catergory) scholarship, slim chance too. And it's only about $3000. lol. Gosh, i'm so late in applying, the final due date for Massey application's next friday and i'm still putting things together. O__o So you definitely going to AUT? lol
the boss's just a uni student studying law. XD So he's doing it part time. haha, it would be awesome, but then i wonder if the NZ market's big enough, and it's hard to find artists who are willing to draw for free. (and it's not only artists, we need to find writers, graphics designers etc.) I don't know any publishers, but we could search it up~ ^O^

Hmmm for some reason I have a feeling u'll get it. $3000 is still heaps. my pays for 3 years of tuition what would be great.

i still need to put together my porfolio (have to go buy an A3 clear file...it's so damn expensive. >_<) and other documents,AND get them verified by teacher. omg~ if i'm late....*sweat* i haven't applied for any other uni.

omg! you are totally gonna get that art and design scholarship. XD i was gonna apply for Massey High Achievers for Academic as well, but then they give out the same amount of money even if you get two scholarships, so i'm like...pff...can't be bothered.

i usually draw the sketch by hand, then ink on SAI and tone in photoshop. lol (there's this computone program which provides loads of tones.) well, even if we get just one manga going it's still a start!

60's quite a big number for scholarship. i mean, even if people go to AUT probably not many are applying for that scholarship. And you do have very good advantage.
hm...it actually does take a while, don't know about you but it takes me at least 5 hours to do one page...
