Photo taken the other day while I was admiring the flood that cut off the roadway between where I was and the other side of Daly Creek. And sure, this doesn't show much in the way of the flood's scale, but I felt this was artistic enough to upload here.

lol, got the fright of my life earlier today while I was sleeping. Huge lightning strike, probably only just a few meters from my room, struck down. It was singular too. There was no warning. Made me half-jump out of bed, and I'm usually a very heavy sleeper.

We live up on a fairly decent hill, so chances of our house going under is seemingly impossible. Being cut off from town on the other hand, however...
