Well, here we have the first photo of the year, taken on the 6th-- the same day I lost my little friend, Brandy. I was so morbid after that that I left the house for some fresh air and went for a ride on my bike around the area. It was peaceful and a kind of interesting experience... especially where the sky was concerned. (That and checking out the local bridge almost under flood waters... again.)

This one pic really didn't convey the amount of work God put into the sky that afternoon either. As the night drew closer, you could swear you were looking at more than just one sunset for its variety, and there was even a small rainbow. So much life, and a nice reminder that not all was out to depress me that day. Even though DA's doing a fine job with that at the mo with its typical viewer instability. Bleh. XD
