Description Well, here's this month's pic and, with all these recent photos I've been uploading since May, one might think I've become a bird watcher.

The birds in question here are natives to Australia at any rate. They're quite common compared to the rarer black cockatoo, but here we have a pair of Gallahs perched at the top of the Singing Ship monument at Emu Park. They're beautiful birds but also incredibly flighty. I was glad I was using a longer lens at the time to capture this shot, since the Singing Ship is no small design. That said, though, I was unable to reduce the size of the original photo by much, hence the quality isn't as sharp as it could be.

Aww, they are so cute! I wish I could watch parrots in my city but I guess they will cause more troubles than pigeons

Yeah, we have many breeds of cockatoos over her that are considered pests, though not sure on this breed specifically.  Probably.
