"Not unless these dreams... this vision... is showing me the fate of someplace else."

"Esha's mercy, Myar. Do not encourage what I'm believing you to think right now."

"I must go, for everyone's sake. For my siblings, mother... and father."

"And there is nothing I can say or do that will change your mind on this?"

"Some advice on how lightly I should travel across distant stars, perhaps?"

"You truly are strong, child. My brother is indeed right to be proud of you."

"I know... yet... farsister, promise me you won't tell him any of this?"

"That much I will honour, yes. So for now... we have much to plan."

It is widely believed that when Myar left her homeworld, she did so merely to sate her thirsts for adventure.

This, while true in some small way, was enough to hide a fear Myar had kept close to her since her sleep was first made restless with reoccurring nightmares that plunged her into a world claimed by the foul tendrils of Chaos. She feared that with her mother's blood giving her the gift of farsight, she was predicting the fate of her people and their beautiful homeworld, while she herself would be alive to witness it all. It was a fate she never wished to believe could become real when she first learnt of it, although, as time passed by, she was never freed from witnessing it in her dreams and made her angry at herself for not understanding what it meant to her as an individual, other than becoming a slave to a corrupt entity she only knew from tales handed down by her elders. Slaanesh.

Esther was the only one to learn of this and tried to offer her counsel as the two warrior women trained for any eventuality. Myar's farsister, her aunt, was indeed troubled by what she knew of her young niece's nightmares, so she did all she could to prepare her for whatever path it was destined to lead her to. This path was initially opposed even by her when Myar first spoke of her plan to leave their people and seek out what she felt would only affect her if she abandoned all she knew and sought it out alone. She wanted it so, even if it meant her death, both mortally and spiritually.

Yet as Myar travelled the distant stars, she realised something. Her nightmares were becoming less terrifying as she learnt to face them, finding more confidence in herself as the warrioress she became and not the frightened creature she was when she was first preyed upon by what sought to violate her body and soul in every way. Myar began to fight back in her sleep and with each new recollection of her nightmares, she found herself defeating them without losing herself to the vileness of Chaos. Her sleep became less troubled after that, giving her the edge she needed to defy all.

To what end all this would lead to, Myar was determined to find out. The nightmares, or rather the vision she once feared for her people became her ambition to see through and overcome.

Ha, well I suppose this is a first from me. Tentacles are not really my forte, and neither is hentai for that matter. Yeah, this work is in relation to that silly April Fools poll I made, and while it was only meant in jest it got me thinking about actually honouring the first choice somehow, which is why this artwork was created and is a hint to what awaits Myar eventually. Should I explain on what that is, though? And no, it doesn't exactly lead to tentacle sex. The tentacles portrayed here are merely a representation of Slaanesh's terrible nature, and that it is Myar's destiny to defy it, not be tainted by. Also, where she's standing holds significant importance to her people, but that's a story for another day... if anyone is indeed interested to learn of it. There may even be Dark Eldar involved. >_>

And yeah, I was tempted to have a goose involved somewhere in the background, but I'm trying to tell a serious, meaningful story here! XD
