Wait, what’s this? Who’s Merius? Why does that name sound familiar…

Next year, onwards, I intend to revisit a long standing tradition of mine, where I created something Myar related at least once each year around November, which almost always involved lore from the perspective of Rufus Merius, rogue trader captain of the doomed vessel, Illiza’s Courage. Originally, it was just a fun way to continue the story of his romance with Myar yet with my renewed interest in the 40k universe I’ve been wanting to expand my creativity for it, so…

… things are going to get a lot more detail, time permitting.

What does this exactly mean for current projects? As things currently stand, my priorities are shifting with what inspires me and it’s been decided the ‘Merius Arc’ for Myar’s life is among them. This doesn’t mean I’m breaking away from other stories entirely as I’m also revisiting my adult story, that being Dreamers. I may even defy my crazy long hiatus with writing for Shadows of Naamor, that being the story involving Klaus and Shae. And then there’s those stories involving Star Wars that most folks have probably forgotten by this point. Sure, I have many issues with the franchise nowadays yet I’m certainly feeling that itch to not abandon Kaen Fey’s story and with it revisit where that was going. At least I intend to finally complete the first arc.

But for now, here’s a teaser for what’s to come for Merius.
