Description Frozen solid...

I took a walk today and here's what the freezing rain and blizzard left on the trees. I absolutely love the texture of bark-the ice only amplifies it's beauty by making it sparkle and shimmer. The only problem is when the sun comes out and pieces start falling on your head! XD

I was very inspired by this ^^ Enjoy!

Totally awesome pictures, thanks for sharing!

I am glad I did not have to weather your storm, ours brought much less moisture, the snow was like down .... it will be a dry summer here!

Trees are inspirational no matter the setting .. the Giants of our world, and they work so well, in just living.

I concur in your subject matter for being awed!

It is a shame we have not found creative ways to build ... and to leave the trees to their lives.

Tree branches work well for many artistic things, .. try a kaleidoscope function on an image of upper branches.

yes they are!

There are so many different kinds of trees too-the inspiration never ends!!!
Every once in a while I come across a site or a book that has pictures of people growing trees into bridges, tables, chairs-all kinds of things-the tree is an amazing plant that I feel can be used in many other ways than just cutting them down and harvesting the non-living wood into building material.

I really love how ice accents plants and such X3

I live on the coast, so it's a bit warmer and we don't get as much ice -_- One time we did get a huge lot of it and it froze all of the trees on the highway

I never saw such structures where I live. But on the other hand: we donΒ΄t have blizzards
These luck gorgeous! Such things remind us every day of natureΒ΄s beauty.
