Alright, high time actually got back to the Fire and Rescue cast. D8< I swear I will finish them! If I can do the first cast I can do this one too.Anyhow, Mayday!
Oh gosh all the discussions that went into this guy. In the movie (for those of you who have seen it.) Mayday is all rusted and pretty much run down. But by the end he's all fixed up and looks good as new. Translating that to Mechanid terms... was not exactly easy. I had to sit on it for awhile and talk with Rebecca and Storm on how it would be done. Rebecca came up with the idea that maybe this Mayday had old burns/scars he never bothered getting fixed and maybe his hardware just need some adjusting so lots of surgery for this dude. The final touch would be a new uniform and no glasses. Those of you who have been following the Ask-the-Mechanids account have already seen Mayday all fixed up. I tried keeping the differences as minimal as possible.
I will eventually do a full body shot of him all fixed up but that's for another time. For now, this is all I have.
