Heh, this pic is old- about 5 years old now XD I think Cate Blanchett has some great moments, and then some not-so-great moments, but I blame that more on the scriptwriters.
The slow deepness fits my view of Galadriel- she's so oolllddd- but Arwen, yea, Arwen is a young elf. Granted, I suppose they were really trying to distinguish her from Eowyn as being "wiser" or something (distinguish her in the 'people who have the hots for Aragorn' group), hehe.

Sorry for the slight delay XD
Dude, Arwen in the second and third films was annoying with that Havens plotline! They added that in rather hastily because she was originally supposed to show up in Helm's Deep and give Aragorn Anduril... yea. So I'm not sure what's worse: Arwen in Helm's Deep or the whole 'Arwen dying' plot. I personally would have worked it out differently. Maybe more dream sequences or flashbacks.

LOL, actually one thing I didn't mind about the films was Arwen's increased role XD I really think it needed to be increased for her story with Aragorn to make sense, since they couldn't just add in an Appendices. And that way film-goers would understand why he rejected Eowyn. Granted, in the third film I wouldn't have had the Arwen-dying is connected to the Ring plot, that made no sense.
And if Glorfindel had been there instead, he may have taken Haldir's place and died in Helm's Deep O.o So, yea, I'm ok with Glorfy being in the background. I also believe he lent Arwen his horse because her own horse was obviously, uh, resting because of a lame foot XD Yes, I have my own excuses to make up for those scenes...

Ugh, if Glorfindel died that would have pissed me off more than Haldir's death did XD I prefer him unseen and alive XD
Oh, I agree completely. The reason I remember Haldir saying he came from Lord Elrond is because Elrond and Arwen traveled to Lorien in an earlier version of TTT, back when Arwen traveled to Helm's Deep to give Anduril to Aragorn. They rewrote that quite a bit, but there's still evidence of the old plot, including Haldir's appearance and his strange words.

The first though that hit me when I saw this drawing was the expression of her face. I think you manage that very well. The face expression is exactly right. Good work

Very nice technique you used in this piece. I like the fact that the hood isn't shaded...give it a more airy feel and you captured her very well.

Wow! That's great! It really looks like her!
It's nice to see someone else who cuts of parts of the picture. I helps draw the attention of the viewer to the features you are focussing on. ^_^
