Ah man.... this was one HELL of a project! I originally made it for a contest at my college in the art department a while back. Unfortunately, it was rejected. For what reason, I have nooooo idea. But I'm happy the piece none the less and that's all that matters
!I got the inspiration for this from my alot of things. One in particular was from my daily drives. On my way to places like school or the market, there are huge fields that kinda boggle my mind. And on certain times there's a spot that has a perfect sunset. With that and my smooth jazz going, my heart just sets afloat!

Ah Wakfu and Dofus! Has beautiful character designs, and some the BEST animation I've ever seen!
I really do take a lot influence from the artist behind those games like and . Their works have always inspired me!

Yeah Xa is a great artist, though I'm not really found of Dofus/Wakfu style, but still it's amazing.
And we had an exam at school where we had to create a new race for the game with powers based on art techniques. It was very fun !

Thanks dude! But the credit really goes to the artwork of Muramasa: The Demon Blade for inspiring me, which has some of the best background art that I've ever seen. The whole game is gorgeous overall, as well as Vanillaware's other works! But my first time seeing those backgrounds I thought, "WOW! THIS is what I want my backgrounds to look like!".

Yeah, to be honest to this day it still kinda bugs as to how this didn't make it in...maybe it just wasn't good enough, maybe it was the fact it's a digital piece as opposed to a traditional, maybe the judges don't like the cartoony approach, who can say? I just wish I knew so that whatever faults the judges saw in it, then maybe I could figure out how to improve upon it...but oh well! It's really not that big of a deal, since that was years ago.
Anywho, thanks dude! I look back on this and honestly say, that this is one of my pieces that I've ever made.

I love this character. The design, the expression, the outfit, everything. The scenery all around is also impressive. It gives a very warm and gentle cozy feel. Is this a random one off character or is he part of a story of yours?
