100 Theme Challenge29. Happiness
Uhhhh.
Something tells me using the same character for 28. Sorrow and 29. Happiness doesn't quite make sense...Let me just say this: I love Lucrecia. I love her and I cherish her so much and alot of people hate her and it breaks my heart! I've never been able to play DoC without just bawling whenever I finish or just see Lucrecia!
That's why I'm being Lucrecia for Halloween and I'm making my boyfriend be Turk! Vincent because I believe Vincent and Lucrecia are the only way to go!
Yes, I do hate Yuffie and Shelke. But not because they're Lucrecia's competition... besides, since Vincent can't be with Lucrecia, he needs to be a loner forever or find me. ._.
So... pretty much, in my made up world... after Vincent died, Lucrecia brings him back to life and embraces him with tears in her eyes instead of just running off and killing herself.
I had a heckuva time drawing Lucrecia's body and face. Vincent's face looks really off but I like how his body turned out at least!
I like the coloring and the use of space... I just really, really hate Lucrecia's feet! ARGH!But I love how their hair turned out... especially Lucrecia! *hugs her*

Hugging someone in a pool of blood is either a display of relief or a sad goodbey.. The only thing that makes this happy is the smile on her face (happy or disturbing, mmmm). Anyway, the drawing itself is good.

Well, luckily, the story I had around this drawing is when Vincent reverts back to his... more HUMAN self after being injected with Chaos AND given the Protomateria... I imagined Vincent is let out of his little... chamber, thing, and Lucrecia hugs him or something.

Lucrecia doesn't seem to love Vincent from what I got out of the games, she is eat up with regret concerning his father, and can't seem to get over it. I feel she viewed Vincent as a small fling or something like that, but Vincent really loved her. She felt responsible for Vincent's 'death' so tried to save him, almost like trying to make amends for not being able to save Grimoire.
I can't really say I HATE her over all character, but I do HATE the choice she made using her own baby in the JENOVA project, and then biting Vincent's head off when he tried to intervine and save the child.

I don't know... I think she loved him. I think guilt just sort of put her in a position where she decided to avoid Vincent. She didn't want the guilt anymore, so she attempted to get rid of the source... I don't know quite how to put it.
I'll definately have to replay this game.
Haha, yeah. Lucrecia really does just make one mistake after another... mistakes that tend to lead to much irriation for me. lol

Monologue is when a character talks to him or herself... and the monologue is like inner thoughts and ponderings. The audience generally gets to hear these thoughts, of course. And sometimes, a monologue more or else is directed to the audience as though the character is having a conversation.

Oh dear... um, well. In Dirge of Cerberus, Mr. Valentine was a scientist who worked with Lucrecia. They weren't dating at all.... just scientists working on a theory together. He was never a body guard, but he did save her life.

I played the game once about 6 years ago. To me it seems Lucrecia didn't choose Hojo over Vincent, but rather the life as a scientist over the life as a woman. But I haven't played DoC and I'm sure I forgot many important parts from the game. This is just how I remember it after all these years.

After getting all these comments on this piece, I really want to replay this game hopefully and gain new ideas and a deeper meaning to the relationship of Vincent and Lucrecia!
