That was a strangely difficult war table mission in my opinion, and I was also disturbed by the lack of reaction, even from the Inquisitor. They dropped the ball on scripting that one.

I was SO nervous during the Grey Warden quest chain. Too many hours had passed to starts all over again, and since I made a mistake I was terrified they'd all die. At no other point did I feel so much anxiety. Luckily most survived, thank goodness. I can only imagine what it would have been like for Lavellan.

I want this scene to happen ingame. It bothers me that no one reacts. "What happens in the War Room stays in the War Room" ... even if Lavellan's entire family just got slaughtered. This is why I'm writing about it.
(I'm obviously not the only one with a sick preference to let her characters suffer ... I'm guilty of this. I provoked this outcome because I wanted my OC to make a big bad mistake and to fail ...)
And I love the style you used here, and how you've drawn Solas. I'm super picky when it comes to how people draw Solas and you do such a good job drawing him!

I was expecting those war table ops to be something like the Inquisitor's own loyalty mission, it's outcome having BIG impact on whether or not they still wanted to be there

Same here. In DA and ME games you have these loyalty missions, help your crewmates to solve their problems from the past. Why not to make somthing equal. I know there were a few chats in ME, there was DA: Origins. And the only purpose of protagonist is to defeat the evil. But wtf? Our characters do have their own past!

Same reaction to me. WHY THE HELL NOONE CARES?

Why? Idk. Because making full questline would cost too much. And this quest was needed to indicate choise of race influense. Honestly, I can't see a big difference between various races playthoughs. Except romance, and this is less important factor in gameplay.

OH MY GOD YOU HAD THE EXACT SAME THING... AND I WAS SO HORRIFIED ... ESPECIALLY SINCE YOUR CHARACTER DOES NOT REACT AT ALL! I totally agree with this. I literally went around trying to see if anyone had any specific reaction with this.. Yet I was twayed with and found nothing. I actually felt like total shit for a good day when that happened.. I felt horrible.. I also didn't want to go back on my save. :/ I FEEL YOU! The message in there.. even the emotion behind it was killing me. Yet all I could do is just run off somewhere.. and just sit down and think about it.

The only good thing in all this for me - I like torturing my characters. But I aslo want hem to have solid story, whithout any holes.
So yes, I agree

This is so beautiful. I really wish they would have done SOMETHING in reaction to them all dying. When I went to the war table and discovered they'd all been killed I expected something. ANYTHING. Nobody made any mention of it. I was so distraught and confused I ran around Skyhold wishing there was something to jump off of just to get it all out lmao. I love this game but that was some pretty severe oversight. Would have made an epic, heart-wrenching quest.

That quest glitched for me. Every time one of the advisers would complete it, it would reappear, like it hadn't been done. So I tried Josephine first, then Leliana twice. Finally did Cullen, and they were slaughtered, and the mission disappeared. Kinda pissed about that...

Simple is sometimes best for conveying a specific emotion and you, I feel, did that well here!
I tried being more diplomatic for the first mission and then when people continued to bitch at my clan I went hostile right back. Haha. It fit with my inquisitor's personality too and turned out to be the correct choice. I was very glad.

Yeeeahh, I screwed this series of missions up royally on my first playthrough, and made sure to research the best people to use for future reference, but it is really weird that no one mentions your entire clan is dead. And great job portraying the emotion on her face.

i lucked out with the first two missions, only found out what could have happened when I looked it up . . . thank goodness I sent Josephine to contact them . . . that goes double for Cullen on the second . . . *deep sigh of relief*

i did that on my first lavellan and i was like QAQ it is grating that no one ever mentions the clan wiping out, but it wasn't surprising either. thankfully, i saved them on my canon playthrough =w=

I love the style! I especially love the shadowing, it's really good. Only complaint is that g at the end of "within", it distracts me because I'm obsessed with grammar and spelling.
Great job!

Yeah, it bothers me too that no one brought up the loss.
I managed to save my clan on my second elf playthrough. Send Cullen to protect/save everyone when they're in a city and send for help. Anyone else will result in death.
BTW I absolutely love the colors you used here, and the placement of the lighting. The light darkness at the bottom give it a heavy feel, the way loss affects a person. Very well done!

Hmm... That's rather odd, because I've assigned Cullen as well and we've lost both troops and clan.
Many thanks!

The first quest when they're dealing with bandits I send leliana. I send Cullen when they're in a city being blamed for a disease.

Yes, for the first quest Leliana was assigned, and for the last - Cullen. Unfortunately I dont remember what was happening between
