Yes yes those things all definitely came through, especially the wonderful atmosphere! I've had it as my desktop background since I first saw it and I must say, it doesn't ever get old. A few people have complimented the fuck out of it, ahahah!

before i saw the vid, the pic reminded me of a BL manga "Doukyusei" (one of the main character also has a black hair and he wears glasses lol)

Haha, it's funny how you said sunset and not sunrise; I suppose that is the mood most people would associate with the drawing as well. I love peaceful moments and I hope to draw more of them <3
