lose the pentacle... I thinkt he top part of the cheeks are a wee bit bigger then I think it should be but damn sweetie you got him good. I love the robes... need teh makings... the hands are wonderful!!!! yes..... I think you did great

I love the style of this art. Not sure what it's called, but it reminds me of old paintings I've seen. And it looks very much like Raistlin compared to how I've imagined him.

Raistlins the best character in the books, i was sad when he had 2 stay in the Abyss wiyh her Dark Majesty forever, but i just started reading Dragons of Summer Flame and i heard Palin was goin 2 go in & try 2 save him, so i'll just c what happens.

I really like the way this is painted. It feels like an authentic historical painting of him. Your portrayal is a much better quality.

It is watercolour if that is what you tried to say. I achieve the hands by looking myself in a mirrow, at that time I was studing at Fine Arts and the digital cameras wasn´t at the market yet ^^

Yup, I know this is a watercolour :3 But I want to pay attention to contours - this picture's looks like you had cut out the firs ground(Raistlin) and next sticked it on background.

Raistlin is so badass! What's the name of the first DragonLance chronicles book? I just picked up Dragons of Autumn Twilight, and I got addicted to Raistlin. He's so damn cool! Nice Picture. I think it captures his dark side in a form of light ~.^

An impressive rendition of what is undoubtedly my favorite fictional character. The style is not one that I am usually fond of, given that the necessarily "blocky" painting comes at the expense of much precision and detail, and I DO believe that such things are a tad lacking here, but I am genuinely fond of this piece in the smaller version, from a distance. Majere's expression, in particular, seems quite faithful to the character's demeanor, and his prodigious, solitary brilliance and gloom. The way in which he grasps the Staff of Magius seems quite characteristic, as well, somehow.

Caramba, ando leyendo por estas fechas por primera vez en mi historia (xD) los libros de Dragonlance (yo soy más de Reinos ^^) Pero desde luego entre ese grupo de... ejem... el único que destaca es Raistlin. Para mi es el único que sabe lo que hace... En fin, divagaciones.
Me gusta mucho el dibujo, el color y la forma en la que el mago mira como si estuviera a punto de matarte o decirte alguna de sus frases hirientes. Quizás el tono metálico dorado, pero como yo nunca me lo puedo imaginar así, pues me gusta como está.
