doesn't quite have the same effect.
Fire is a funny thing to play with. The fire that forms his right foot looks really off.
The cool thing about the original is that the water was exploding in the direction the model was looking. The fire here just seems to have been cut and pasted.
Personally if I were to have played with this piece I would have transformed the flame to form a face in agony while the rest of the body is blazing outward. Most of this flame is just radiating upward and that just doesn't do anything visually. It just lets the eye visit the picture and then move onto the next without really caring.
