yeahh ... i like, never use colour pencils. i guess i sort of wanted to try it after long admiring pyromaniac 's artworks ... gosh he's a legenddd TwT;but yeah. as you can see, my experience with colour pencils is somewhat lacking ¬_¬ feedback/hints/tips would be greatly appreciated. i want to master this. help meee.
actually it might be hard to see all the flaws (and all the nice details damnittt) with this image at such a small size.
ha ha, i also had no yellows, oranges, fleshtones, purples, and some other colours.. i've come to realize that my colour pencil set has half of its contents missing, and hence, i shall need a new a set one of these days. one of these days...
...so i had to mix and match lots of stuff together to get some shades looking right. like her hair-ties are actually "Golden Brown" mixed with "May Green". interesting.

pyromaniac! Oh MAN I love his work so much. There are so many deviations when I come online (yeah I'm not very frequent...) so I delete a lot of them, but his work is something I always frequent.

O: !! PAIRO IS ONE OF MY ARTISTIC HEROES. i came across a print-out of one of his drawings glued to the inside-cover of a folder Owned By One Of My Teachers!! i was like "PYROMANIACCCCCC" and she was like "yeah he's pretty cool." and i was like "your words do him no justice" or something similar.
but yeahhh, this drawing looks freaking awesomer in person if i do say so myself xD there's IMMENSE detail in the pen-work on her wings even, the textured layering of colours ARRRGH D: !!! the thing is, i don't even have the original of this anymore, as i made it for a friend's birthday ... who is in the process of having it converted to a tattoo currently.
it feels weird, knowing that something i drew will be near-immortalized on someone's skin. i'm SO glad this drawing turned out how i wanted it to, otherwise every time i see it i'd be like "ARRGH i see a mistake!" and THAT would suck..

WOW that's like Derek. He got me to draw a spider for him and he's now getting it tattooed into his arm! I wasn't particularly fond of that drawing ... but if he likes it, that's all that matters I guess!

Pyromaniac's style is amazing-but-accessible (if you know what i mean) ... and i love it.
it almost feels like one day i'll be able to create art like his, or art similar to his, and it wouldn't even be far from my natural style as is. and he barely uses Photoshop! most of his stuff is hand-drawn, hand-coloured, ARRH i love it. LOVE IT.

And yeah ... non-digital artmaking. That's awesome. That shows prolific talent ... and also, if you make a mistake with a coloured pencil, you can't really change it but OH WELL! That's why it's so appreciable ... (that's ... a word, right?

Okay you know how you have words that like ... you're pretty sure you've heard before but you're not sure if that person just made it up on the spot (or if you did in conversation, ha) and you don't want to sound like a tool so you have to think and yeah this is going nowhere.

AND YEAH Dictionary.com is my hero. I have it bookmarked; it's so good for a quick definition; because I often get confused with contexts of words and such. Soooo good.

yeah they used to have their website loaded into the Firefox search bar, like where the google search is... that used to be the BEST. but they were removed in one of the updates for Firefox, for some reason ... i think there must've been some clash between them, or they didn't allow permission, or something weird. in any case, it used to be awesome and Now It Is Less Awesome D:<

Do you mean, like, the taskbar that runs across the top of the browser? I think you do. In that case WELL I don't use Firefox, LOL, I'm a retro "Internet Explorer" Gal and yeah I actually have no other choice because I'm afraid of screwing with the browser ^^

yeah umm. well umm ... in Firefox, there's kinda like two white bars along the top.. one is the address bar, which Internet Explorer has (and usually has the http ://www.whatever in it) aaand then there's another smaller one to its right, in Firefox, which you can type in stuff and it'll search for you.
so like when Google Search is selected on it, you just type in what you want to search for and it'll google it for ye. it's handy 'cos otherwise you'd have to go to google.com, wait for it to load, then you type in your search on the page. with the search bar, it's just sho easy! also, there were other search modes you could use instead of Google, like eBay, Dictionary.com, Amazon, and all that. 'tis rad!

Sounds handy, but it doesn't really make a difference for me. We've got cable internet, so everything loads in a blink. I don't have to wait long at all for Google to load, nor do I have to wait for the search to load. Would you say Firefox is better?

Firefox is most certainly better, primarily because it's much safer than Internet Explorer; IE has an innate ability to harbour many, MANY security flaws. also, the fact that it's the "standard" that comes with Windows means that the majority of haxxors (aka 'hackers') out there design their systems to attack other systems which use IE, hence, IE users are more susceptible to incoming viruses/trojans/worms/hydras/haxxoring/etc. this, and Firefox is just more securely designed in general so that it's much MUCH harder for bad stuff to get onto your PC when using Firefox instead of IE.
also, nothing quite beats the ease of use of Tabbed Browsing, which Firefox comes with. it's so good you could drool to just the mere thought of it.

i believe you can download it free from their website; they're not out for profit (unlike IE, being a Microsoft product and such). try searching for Mozilla Firefox, as Mozilla is the group who invented Firefox. it'd be on their website =] good luck !

LOL Rob got really angry with the computer one time because we had a Trojan (the computer downstairs; not this laptop HA I make SURE not a single virus gets near this) and Rob said,
"YOU KNOW WHAT?! I think Microsoft CREATE the viruses and release them, and then release PRODUCTS to rectify them! It's a bloody money scheme that they're blaming on some poor hacker!"

well yeah, but Microsoft doesn't actually release any of the big-name antivirus products, because it'd be far too suss on their part. they have like, their own antivirus thing built into Windows i think, but that's pretty much free of charge. lol Rob is funny..
