Hello everyone <3 It's Emiko Kouji. This is a promotional concept illustration made for the manga AURA. I was working on this a while back in July 2017. Not gonna lie to you, I was tumbling down in life and couldn't continue on this for 4 months. This illustration was finally done 2 weeks ago. ( ^ ^ ; )

So I was talking to the commissioner (Adam LaValleyさん) and he described to me what he wanted. Among the many details he provided me were; (1) a panoramic illustration, (2) a city after riot scene, (3) an upturned bicycle, (4) trash bin, (5) scattered trash, (6) sakura tree, (7) fire and smoke, (8) a fisheye effect cloud and (9) random advertisements around the building. I tried to fulfill his every request, while the rest of it was filled in from my imagination.
