Zoro from "ONE PIECE" in his standard pose. I was having trouble with his hair and such, so I wanted to get as close as I could to the "original" poses and stances before going off and doodling him doing something different. It's always good to have a reference. *chuckles*Please don't correct my spelling. I've watched the anime since the late 90's and that is his proper name.
Of course you all know I don't own OP or anything like that. I just love the (original: Japanese) characters.

While I'm not really a big lover of fanart, you pulled off the character brilliantly. Apart from a few details on the face, it almost looks official.

Fanart is just an expression of the love you feel for something; anything really. If done well, it's sometimes neat to see. But it's usually flooded all over the place and one can get sick of it fast. My website has my originals, but DA seemed great to host all my fanart. I have quite a lot. O_||

Sorry, I got my point across wrong. I like decent fanart, this being a fanart I like, I'm just not really big on fanart of the 'I DRAW STICK FIGURE AND GIV IT CLOS FROM TIS SHOW AN DTHEN I CAL TI FANRT!!!!111111one' variety, which ruins the whole idea of it and drags the word 'Fanart' down. I also don't like that fanart gets more attention than decent, original characters, but I understand that is because characters people already know make the art more accessible.
Anyway, I'm ranting now. Awesome picture, and I'll make sure to check out the original work on your site when I'm not so pushed for time ^^

It's sad. I came back to DA simply because my website will get more hits than if I didn't. (Sad to say, the site doesn't have much on it now as most of the art is being revamped.) Thank goodness there's a few folks like you lurking about though! Folks that understand that artists would like to be known for their art, not their fanart. x3

One Piece has been in Japan for at least ...I think since 1997. :3 Zoro's been one of my fave characters since around then.
