uhm ._. i don't try to copy anyone. if you look at the pictures before you see different coloring, facestructure etc ._. i tried to find some style i am happy with and that does not look like a popular artists style, because i was a bit afraid of getting comments like yours comparing me or saying i copy, because of a possible similarity. but i was not happy with the older pictures so i decided to draw like i want and i like that kind of (girly)/(kitty)face, vibrant colors and a coloring that isn't that smooth. maybe there is a similarity between my and her style and maybe you are the only one who thinks that (because you are the fist one who wrote something like this), but it is difficult to reinvent the wheel

Primo : it's suuuper close to sakimichan though, so even if you don't copy (you didn't)n but the way you rendered it looks Heavily influenced by the way she does...
(that's why I compared it directly)
"It's difficult to reinvent the wheel" : naaaah gyal : you can manage to be original, there's tons of ways to do portraits! From Van Gogh to Bouguereau, and even by mixing existing stuff to create new ones.

i thought it would be worth it, because you are the first commenter ever, who wrote something critical. ^^
i don't compare my stuff to other artworks while i create it, nor when i finished it. i have more than one artist i like. and the normal way of finding your style is to combine the influences you get and maybe change parts or add something. this is what i meant with the wheel thing, because after all this years there are TONS of artists and styles. and if you like semirealism like me, there are many many artists as well.
i won't say i am not original. i won't say individualism is something that has to be 100% new (and 100% new is the hard part with all those artists using the internet). for me it means to be real and honest with the things you do/create. and this is the way i create my characters at this moment and i don't use artwork from other artists to create it. this is the way it comes out these days and how i am happy with it currently. i uploaded 10 artworks (three i am happy with ;D) and one journal. the "older" artists uploaded, i don't know, 1000+?! ô.O and create art for about 10+years? i think there is much space for me to evolve and improve in the future. ^^
