Yes! Especially the manga version. Very emotional at the end and more things are said. Also... DIFFERENT ENDING.

Well... In Elfen Lied everything looks kinda normal while comparing to Higurashi... In Higurashi we have multi-verse bullshit, many, many, maaany crazy killers who change every new world and some secret person who's doing all of that just to gain something that they can't really gain in the end. Oh, and let's not forget, a friggin' god in a form of a small girl! LOL Craziness everywhere!

Wow... I didn't know that. But in Elfin Lied, people get ripped apart by the Diclonius' vectors. Though it's a great show, it's also very heartbreaking. I guess I'm just too soft (and not sadistic enough) to watch Higurashi.

Hm... In Higurashi it's mostly about the psycological stuff that drew them to commit all of those crimes. In Elfen Lied... It's just a monster and a hero kind of thing to me. But yes, it IS heartbreaking at times. Especially the manga. Poor Lucy and Nana... Mariko also had hard life... :/

Sorry for changing the topic, but I just realized that this is our first conversation...

Anyhow, maybe Higurashi might be interesting. I'll possibly watch the first episode to give it a chance. I'm still not sure. Same goes for whether or not I should try Silent Hill...

Silent Hill is an awesome series, but in my opinion the real scare only lasted like... Up till the 4th game was out. The only REAL Silent Hill games are the first three. The atmosphere is there and the feel of dread at every corner. The newer SH games are... Kinda weak in my opinion. :/ But you have to check out for yourself.
