Description Well, it is late, but here is my entry for and contest.

Yeah, so I have no idea what she is yelling at. Maybe you guys could come up with something. Maybe she 's yelling for Kohaku. I don't know.

I haven't drawn Sango that much, so I hope I drew her alright. The coloring of her bangs and her collar plate thingy both look stupid, in my opinion. And I think her Hiraikotsu looks out of proportion for some reason. It is my first time drawing that. Looked off a few screencaps to see how it compared to her though.

If you go to this [link] you will find links to the different versions. I started reading the one on ff.net. Hope that helps.

what is the story about?

It is basically the story of InuYasha set in Ancient Egypt instead of Feudal Japan.

I love the pose and her outfit here. And, while this came in too late to be in the voting (that started almost a week ago), I can still add you to the second-chance drawing. I'll also post the link to this on the page with the other entries so people can come and see it. Thanks so much! Again, another great job!

Thank you, Urd-chan. I'm so glad that you like it.

I know it is late, and I'm sorry about that. I was really busy getting ready for Tekkoshocon.

I really appreciate being added to the second chance drawing for the contest though. Thank you so much.

And I know it is going to be late, but I've been working on your birthday present too and should have it finished soon.

Well, I just feel badly that I really couldn't add it to the voting - but, as long as you're all right with that. Oh, and we had originally planned on going to Tekkoshocon, but things just didn't work out for us. It was on my birthday weekend, too, which would have been fun. Maybe next year (if the con itself shows itself worthy of the trip - I had some issues regarding the way some things were handled, which was one of the reasons we ended up not going).

I look forward to seeing my birthday gift. It's always fun to get presents! Thanks in advance!

It's alright. I'm grateful that you added me into the second chance drawing. Arigatou!

I was wondering why I didn't see you there. Mind me asking what it was about the way the con was run that changed your mind into going? If you don't want to say here then you could note me, or if you don't want to say at all that's fine too.

Well, I'm not sure if finances would have allowed us to attend anyway, although I really had wanted to be at a convention for my birthday weekend. The main reason I took it off our list was their complete disregard for my requests and questions. I realize that conventions are run by volunteers, but that is no excuse for them to totally ignore e-mail sent to them. I'm sorry, but I'm used to being treated with respect by the conventions I go to - in fact, I have worked hard to establish a certain reputation in the convention circuit, so I didn't take lightly to their inability to give me even the slightest bit of respect.

I guess I'm rather spoiled by so many of the conventions we've attended. Ohayocon practically rolls out the red carpet for us, and treats me almost on the level of a guest. Heck, I was actually scheduled to BE a guest at Kunicon - until the convention folded (there was to be a big Inuyasha push, with Toshi and as many of the VA's as they could get together, with me as a special guest). I have convention chairmen inviting me back - personally - from various conventions I've attended. So, when I attempt to broaded our horizons and find a convention to replace the gap left by Kunicon's demise, I expected a bit more respect and response. It's doubtful I'll bother to even contact them next year, seeing that they - even now - have never bothered to respond to the e-mails I sent them months ago.

It would have been great to meet up, too. That's one of my favorite things about attending conventions - getting to see so many of my on-line friends. Heck, I met *messa at MTAC a couple of weeks ago, and then saw her again at Acen - along with *PZB and *ALM82 who I met for the first time, and getting to see *druihd again (she's stayed at a couple of conventions with us - it always pays to find others to share the room cost, not to mention it giving us time to just chat outside of the convention).

That was rather rude of them, but I know how you feel. I sent them an email too and they didn't even respond. When I was at Artist's Alley too this year, which I'll never do again, I only saw the guy in charge once. You'd think he would come around to see how everyone was doing once and a while, but noooooo.

I don't even know why I go to conventions sometimes. I always make a fool out of myself one way or the other. When I went to Nekocon last year the one guy put me to tears he embarrassed me so much. I cried for fifteen minutes in the bathroom. ~DracoKanji (Matt) first noticed I was upset by his rather rude comment, since he was sitting next to me, and told =KittenKagome (Jen) and we left the room and Jen had to calm me down.

Eventhough we didn't get to meet at Tekkoshocon, I still think it was really cool to have talked to you on the phone that one time. And I hope someday we will get the chance to meet face to face.
