I love the pose and her outfit here. And, while this came in too late to be in the voting (that started almost a week ago), I can still add you to the second-chance drawing. I'll also post the link to this on the page with the other entries so people can come and see it. Thanks so much! Again, another great job!

Well, I just feel badly that I really couldn't add it to the voting - but, as long as you're all right with that. Oh, and we had originally planned on going to Tekkoshocon, but things just didn't work out for us. It was on my birthday weekend, too, which would have been fun. Maybe next year (if the con itself shows itself worthy of the trip - I had some issues regarding the way some things were handled, which was one of the reasons we ended up not going).
I look forward to seeing my birthday gift. It's always fun to get presents! Thanks in advance!

Well, I'm not sure if finances would have allowed us to attend anyway, although I really had wanted to be at a convention for my birthday weekend. The main reason I took it off our list was their complete disregard for my requests and questions. I realize that conventions are run by volunteers, but that is no excuse for them to totally ignore e-mail sent to them. I'm sorry, but I'm used to being treated with respect by the conventions I go to - in fact, I have worked hard to establish a certain reputation in the convention circuit, so I didn't take lightly to their inability to give me even the slightest bit of respect.
I guess I'm rather spoiled by so many of the conventions we've attended. Ohayocon practically rolls out the red carpet for us, and treats me almost on the level of a guest. Heck, I was actually scheduled to BE a guest at Kunicon - until the convention folded (there was to be a big Inuyasha push, with Toshi and as many of the VA's as they could get together, with me as a special guest). I have convention chairmen inviting me back - personally - from various conventions I've attended. So, when I attempt to broaded our horizons and find a convention to replace the gap left by Kunicon's demise, I expected a bit more respect and response. It's doubtful I'll bother to even contact them next year, seeing that they - even now - have never bothered to respond to the e-mails I sent them months ago.
It would have been great to meet up, too. That's one of my favorite things about attending conventions - getting to see so many of my on-line friends. Heck, I met *messa at MTAC a couple of weeks ago, and then saw her again at Acen - along with *PZB and *ALM82 who I met for the first time, and getting to see *druihd again (she's stayed at a couple of conventions with us - it always pays to find others to share the room cost, not to mention it giving us time to just chat outside of the convention).
