Finished painting my holiday card this year, that I'm going to try to send out sometime soon. I usually forget so I'm glad I got this out of the way early this year!watercolor and gouache on strathmore watercolor paper.

I've been seeing the word gouache everywhere? Is that the best thing for backgrounds like this? I don't think people sell it here where I live.

Thanks again! Gouache is a great paint, its kinda in between watercolor and acrylics. It drys completely flat; its what designers and illustrators used before Photoshop. Aaannd I suppose its the best paint for this type of thing, its easier to find than cel acrylics which can also be used the same way. You could probably order gouache online if you wanted...just get 'student grade' when you're starting cuz those are much less expensive :3
