Having lived among the Saraph for as long as she can remember, a lot of their personality had rubbed off on Giada. She is as stubborn and aggressive as any Tiercel when it come to her duty of protecting Danyel, she takes her job seriously, using her abilities to predict and react accordingly to the situation. She is a rare pale Scybilline a prized a slave by any standards, her magic also of rare quality and special to her pale pelt.

History:
Giada came to be in the claws of Malaika Shahira(Danyel's mother) by accident, a lowly Scybilline servant had bred against her masters wishes and was forced to get rid of the eggs for fear of her master destroying them. The femme, Maalia, fled into the night with the eggs, intending to leave the city entirely. As she did not know her way around she ended up going in circles, soon becoming lost. Malaika, a mercenary and skilled retrieval specialist was hired to track down the missing slave, her owner simply believing her to be lost since she rarely saw the outside of his home. Following the reptilian scent took hours but eventually led the hen to a dirty alleyway, Maalia stared up at the golden saraph, brown eyes rimmed with tears. Broken eggshells lay between her legs, half formed embryos pitiful among the remnants. The hen flicked them away, rousted the Scybilline to her feet and shoved her down the alley, just before they left something pale caught Malaika's eye, a stone? She lifted the object in one clawed hand, admiring its shimmering surface she tucked it into her scarf and turned to follow the slave. The egg which had been placed in the sun began to hatch many days later.

The first sight Giada had was of a great winged creature dozing not far away, it smelled warm, inviting and so she joined it upon its bed. Much to the now expecting Malaika's surprise, she awoke to find the pale snakelike creature curled against her side. The hen couldn't bring herself to be rid of it and kept the strangely beautiful creature, she had never seen such a pale Scybilline before. Not even in the claws of some of the richest slavers. The hen and Giada as she named her, quickly became attached and as she grew the young Scyb had no idea she was different, her only clue being the lack of wings for she had claws and teeth as they did. She hadn't turned a year when another child was born, a dark Tiercel named Danyel, he was of the adventurous sort and would sneak away, yet she always seemed to be with him when found. It was decided soon after that she would be his guard, Giada followed the colt wherever he went, earning the praise of Hasan and Malaika both, she took pride in their praise and stuck to her adopted sibling like glue. As time went on and Gia got older she believed herself to be no different than the winged Saraph's who let her live in their home, her temper became as fiery and forceful as those she lived with. She was outspoken, unafraid to speak her mind in the confines of home, without realizing it they had groomed her into being a fearless wingless warrior.

The pair entered their teens years at roughly the same time, Giada knew more of the world than she cared to, now knowing that she wasn't just different but believed to lower ranked than her family. Still she threw herself wholeheartedly into her work, following the tiercel that could now fly but couldn't lose her, she knew Danyel too well for him to escape her watch. Few dared to risk the sharp teeth and claws of the tall slave, her ferocity and aggressiveness earning her and Danyel, a reputation for being worth more trouble than most wanted. She happily resides next to him as a supposed "slave", since it allows her more freedom than most slaves get to have.
